Planning and Stakeholder Engagement – Establish steering committee comprising Yoruba educators, linguists, publishing professionals, and ministry representatives. – Conduct needs assessment: curricula alignments, target grade levels, and subject-specific challenges. – Develop a bilingual glossary and translation conventions.

Phase 2

Content Development : Subject matter experts draft Yoruba textbooks with parallel English-content references. – Translate Western concepts into Yoruba, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance. – Create teacher guides and assessment rubrics. – Peer-review cycles involving local universities and teacher associations.

Phase 3

Production and Design – Professional typesetting, typography optimized for Yoruba diacritics, and accessible design. – Illustrations, diagrams, and culturally resonant visuals. – Pilot print runs and digital formatting (PDF, EPUB, HTML5).

Phase 4

Dissemination and Capacity Building: Launch open-access repository and distribution channels. – Conduct teacher training workshops and webinars. – Roll out feedback mechanisms for iterative improvement.

Phase 5

Evaluation and Sustainability Planning: Assess learning outcomes, teacher adoption, and user satisfaction. – Develop a long-term sustainability plan, including partnerships with publishers and potential licensing models.
